Grand opening celebration marks arrival of Dollar General Market in Warren

WARREN, Ark. – In a festive celebration marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Dollar General Market in Warren officially inaugurated its presence on Tuesday morning, December 5. Although the doors had been open to the public for a few weeks, the grand-opening event brought together local government officials, representatives from local banks, and various community leaders to extend a warm welcome to the new business.

Among the distinguished attendees were the store’s manager, Amanda Belin, and Dollar General District Manager Effie Woods. Woods took the opportunity to address the gathered crowd, expressing Dollar General’s enthusiasm for expanding their footprint within the Warren area market. This marks the company’s third store in the region, underscoring their commitment to serving the community.

What sets this Dollar General Market apart is its expanded selection of grocery items, a departure from the typical offerings at basic Dollar General stores. Shoppers can now find an array of fresh meats, vegetables, and other essentials alongside the regular items synonymous with Dollar General.

As the crowd assembled for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Terrie White of the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce, officially welcomed the store to the community.

The new Dollar General Market is located in the former Piggly Wiggly building on the west side of Martin Street in Warren.
