Lee Ester “Lincoln” Preston, 76, of Harrell, passed away December 6, 2023. Born March 8, 1947, he was a son of the late Sandy and Eva Preston. He enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country in the Vietnam War.
Lee’s passion for travel and new experiences led to his professional career as a truck driver for over forty years. He was a hard-working traveling man, but always had time to spend with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Brian Heard (Mary); siblings, Emma Hamilton, Clydine Preston (Lola); grandchildren, Candice Burton, Chapresha Thomas (Isiah), Brian Shemar Heard, Deon Gilchrist, Emon Gilchrist, Allissa Oliver (Zuntario), Joshua Williams; seven great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Billy Hamilton; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held December 16 at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joyce Trotter-Hampton officiating. Burial was in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
