Lumberjack Women cruise to first win led by freshman Fellows’s 25 point performance

MONTICELLO, Ark. – In a dazzling display of youthful talent, the Warren Lumberjack Women’s basketball team clinched a resounding 46-19 victory over Junction City in the opening round of the Commercial Bank SouthEast Arkansas Holiday Tournament. While the freshmen sensations, Breize Fellows and Livi McKinney, stole the spotlight, the collective effort of the entire team contributed to an unforgettable win.

1st Quarter: Fresh Faces Make a Splash

The game kicked off with a bang as the freshman quartet, including Bailey Miller making her senior high debut, announced their presence on the court. Charlee Wardlaw, Aniyah York, Bailey Miller, and the explosive Breize Fellows all etched their names on the scorecard. Fellows, in her senior high debut, showcased incredible poise with 6 points, setting the tone for the game.

2nd Quarter: Resilience on Display

The second quarter posed challenges, but the freshmen refused to back down. Breize Fellows continued to impress with an additional 6 points.

3rd Quarter: McKinney’s Emergence and Fellows’ Consistency

As the game progressed, Livi McKinney stepped into the spotlight. The freshman standout dropped 6 points in the third quarter. Aniyah York and Breize Fellows added buckets, underlining the freshmen’s significant contribution to Warren’s success.

4th Quarter: Fellows Makes a Statement

In the final quarter Breize Fellows was dominant. The freshman exploded with an impressive 12 points, guiding Warren to a commanding victory. However, the collaborative effort of the entire team, including contributions from Charlee Wardlaw, Aniyah York, Bailey Miller, and Natasha Nunez, played a crucial role in securing the win.
