Bradley County Extension Service Welcomes New Family & Consumer Sciences Agent, Penny Vance

WARREN, Ark. – In an official announcement made by the Bradley County Cooperative Extension Service, County Extension Agent-Staff Chair John C. Gavin shared the exciting news of the appointment of Mrs. Penny Vance as the new Family & Consumer Sciences Agent. The announcement, made in a press release on Friday, January 19, 2024, invites the community to a reception in her honor.

The reception is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Bradley County Extension Office, running from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Mrs. Penny Vance boasts an impressive 34-year career in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences. She began her journey as a dedicated teacher at the Monticello School District. Later, she continued her impactful career at the Drew Central School District.

County Extension Agent-Staff Chair John C. Gavin conveyed the sentiment of the service, stating, “We welcome Mrs. Vance to Bradley County and look forward to working with her.”

The Extension Service extends an invitation to the entire community to join the reception on January 30th. It is an opportunity for residents to meet and welcome Mrs. Penny Vance personally.
