Lumberjacks drop 72 on the Eagles for important road win

CROSSETT, Ark. – In a commanding display, the Warren Lumberjack Men’s Basketball team dominated the Crossett Eagles, securing a decisive 72-43 victory during their away game at Crossett on Tuesday, January 9.

1st Quarter: Warren Sets the Tone

The Lumberjacks came out with intensity, setting the tone for the game. Antonio Jordan’s precise pass inside to Cam Burks drew a foul, allowing Burks to sink both free throws and give Warren an early 2-0 lead. Antonio Jordan followed up with a three-pointer on the next possession, and Neon’dre Thomas added another three a minute later. Warren’s defensive pressure caused early problems for Crossett, leading to a comfortable 26-12 lead by the end of the first quarter.

2nd Quarter: Controlled and Commanding

Tramond Miller opened the scoring in the second quarter with a three-pointer. The Lumberjacks maintained control and command throughout, with Miller contributing a late layup. Warren led 42-21 at halftime.

Antonio Jordan started the third quarter with an emphatic dunk, continuing Warren’s well-controlled performance. The Lumberjacks maintained their lead, heading into the fourth quarter with a commanding 55-33 advantage.

4th Quarter: Crossett Struggles to Contain Antonio Jordan

Crossett continued to struggle to cope with Warren’s attack, and Cam Burks added to the damage with a three-pointer from distance. The Lumberjacks closed out the game with a convincing 72-43 victory.
