Congratulations to these three sixth grade students, Miley Daniell, Kennedy Uribe, and Cambree Moody, for being selected for the Discovering Excellence in Arkansas Award. After being nominated by the Gifted and Talented teacher, these students applied and were selected to participate in this year’s program. They are among only 100 students from around the state who were selected to participate. They will attend, along with their parents, an event held at The Museum of Discover in Little Rock where they will listen to a special guest speaker, meet with scientists from different disciplines, participate in hands-on activities, and get the chance to explore careers in STEM.
