EAST students launch follow-up survey seeking community input

The following is a press release from the Cedar Street Property Planning Committee which is currently working on how to move forward with the lot to the south side of the Bradley County Courthouse:

Students from Mrs. Payton Reep’s EAST lab have created a follow-up survey for the Property Planning Committee to capture the community’s input on desired features and name for the proposed entertainment venue to be located to the south of the courthouse. These students have done a tremendous job in researching grants and layouts of similar venues, as well as creating the surveys and organizing the data yielded from the community input. These outstanding students include Sarah Forrest, Ashlyn Crawford, Jolie Trussell, Anna Grace Mitchell, and Aaron Barajas. The group has demonstrated maturity and competence that has made the project progress in a timely manner.

The link for the latest survey is Entertainment Venue Survey (google.com). This survey includes choices for the name of the venue, as well as options for features such as seating or no seating and whether a permanent stage structure is desired. We encourage everyone to participate in the survey to make this venue one that will serve the community well for years to come. Follow the link and be a part of this historical undertaking.
