First Baptist Church Warren Christian School closed temporarily due to flu

WARREN, Ark. – First Baptist Church Warren Christian School announced on Monday afternoon that it will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (2/20-2/21) due to a surge in flu cases. The decision comes as a precautionary measure to ensure the wellbeing of the school community.

In a statement released by the school administration, they expressed regret for any inconvenience caused but emphasized that the safety and health of students and staff remain their top priority. The closure was deemed necessary due to a significant number of flu cases affecting multiple teacher families. This has led to a shortage in staffing, which could compromise the teacher-student ratio required for licensing.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this causes your family, but feel this is in the best interest of the school as a whole,” the announcement read. It also assured parents and guardians that they would be kept informed of any updates or changes.

Updates regarding the reopening of First Baptist Church Warren Christian School will be communicated to parents and guardians as soon as they become available.

For further inquiries or assistance, parents are advised to contact FBC Warren Christian School.
