Hermitage’s Leigh Ann Brandon graduates from Arkansas State

JONESBORO, Ark. – Arkansas State University proudly announces the roster of students who fulfilled degree requirements and graduated at the Fall Commencement, held on December 16th at the First National Bank Arena. This diverse group of achievers hails from 45 states and territories, as well as 18 other countries.

Among the distinguished graduates is Leigh Ann Brandon from Bradley County, representing Hermitage. She attained the degree of Specialist in Education, specializing in Educational Leadership.

Chancellor Todd Shields presided over the conferral of diplomas at various academic levels, including associate, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees, along with the presentation of various program certificates. These accolades were awarded through the university’s distinguished colleges: Agriculture, Neil Griffin College of Business, Education and Behavioral Science, Engineering and Computer Science, Liberal Arts and Communication, Nursing and Health Professions, Sciences and Mathematics, and University College.

Graduates achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA are recognized as Summa Cum Laude. Those with a GPA ranging from 3.8 to 3.99 earn the distinction of Magna Cum Laude, while graduates with GPAs between 3.6 and 3.79 are honored as Cum Laude recipients.
