Local Y basketball teams showcase talent at Lumberjack Arena

WARREN, Ark. – On Tuesday night, February 27, the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA youth basketball teams had the opportunity of the year as they took to the court at Lumberjack Arena. Grades 1st through 4th participated in the event, providing a thrilling experience for both the young athletes and the community at large.

The event not only allowed these budding basketball stars to showcase their skills but also provided them with the unique opportunity to play on the same court as the Warren Lumberjacks and Lady Jacks. For many of the kids, it was a dream come true to tread the same ground as their local sporting heroes like Antonio Jordan, Bayleigh Miller, Charlee Wardlaw, Tramond Miller, and David Jordan.

The atmosphere was electric as the young players were treated to the full Arena experience. From the dazzling light show to the exciting player introductions, every detail was carefully curated to make it a memorable night for all involved. The enthusiasm and energy of the crowd further fueled the excitement, creating an unforgettable ambiance.

For the participants, it was more than just a game; it was an invaluable learning experience. They had the chance to hone their skills, learn sportsmanship, and most importantly, have fun.
