Warren Lady Jacks dominate Camden Fairview with 21-4 win

CAMEN, Ark. – The Lady Jacks Softball Team embarked on their first road game of the season, facing off against Camden Fairview. It was a remarkable display of skill and teamwork as the Warren squad secured a commanding 21-4 victory.

Breize Fellows led off the top of the 1st inning with a walk, subsequently scoring on Haven Johnson’s RBI single. Ember Johnson then contributed with an RBI sacrifice fly to score her sister Haven. Bayleigh Miller hit Warren’s first home run of the season with a solo shot. Paige Byrd reached base on a hit by pitch, stole 2nd, and scored on Livi McKinney’s RBI single. Warren led 4-0. In the bottom of the 1st inning, Camden Fairview picked up 3 runs to make it a 4-3 game.

In the top of the 2nd inning, Haven Johnson was hit by a pitch, then stole 2B and 3B, eventually scoring on a passed ball. Ember Johnson drew a base on balls, stole 2B, and scored on a passed ball. Natalie Hargrove singled, followed by Paige Byrd’s single. Hargrove scored on Presley Reep’s RBI single. The Lady Cardinals went scoreless, and Warren led 7-3 after 2 innings.

The Lady Jacks continued the onslaught in the top of the 3rd inning. Haven Johnson hit a solo home run to start the scoring. Ember Johnson followed with a double, while Bayleigh Miller drew an intentional walk. Ember Johnson scored on a passed ball, and Miller scored on Natalie Hargraves’ sacrifice fly. Paige Byrd doubled and scored on Presley Reep’s RBI double. In the bottom of the 3rd, the Lady Cards scored a run but trailed 11-4.

In the top of the 4th inning, Warren failed to score. In the bottom of the inning, Haven Johnson robbed the Lady Cards’ leadoff hitter of a home run with a web gem in centerfield. Camden Fairview failed to score.

In the top of the 5th inning, the Lady Jacks scored a run on Ember Johnson’s solo home run. The Lady Cards went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning. Warren led 12-4.

In the top of the 6th, Presley Reep singled, followed by an RBI single by Livi McKinney. Rayleigh Milton walked and scored on Breize Fellows’ RBI sacrifice fly. Haven Johnson had an RBI double, and Ember Johnson followed with an RBI double. Bayleigh Miller had an RBI double and scored on Zoey Tullos’ sacrifice. Paige Byrd doubled and scored, as did Presley Reep. The Lady Cardinals went 3 up and 3 down in the bottom of the inning.

The Lady Jacks capped off their victory over Camden Fairview with a final score of 21-4.

For the Lady Jacks, Breize Fellows went 1-3 and scored a run. Haven Johnson went 3-4 with a home run, a single, and a double. Ember Johnson went 3-3 with a home run and 2 doubles. Bayleigh Miller went 2-4 with a home run and a double. Natalie Hargreaves went 1-3. Paige Byrd went 3-4 with a single and 2 doubles. Presley Reep went 3-5 with 2 singles and a double. Livi McKinney went 2-4 with 2 singles.

Raeleigh Milton ran her record to 2-0 on the season. She pitched 7 innings, struck out 4, walked 3, and gave up 5 hits with the win.
