Warren Police issue bench warrant for suspect in shooting incident

The following is a press release from the Warren Police Department:

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10:42 p.m. Warren Police Department Dispatch received a 911 call advising that a subject got shot in front of Walnut Ct. Upon officers’ arrival a male victim was found at Bryant Ct. that had been shot. The victim was transported to Bradley County Medical Center by “EASI” ambulance service. Officers located the shooting scene on Packard St. The suspect was identified as Treayshonn De’Eric Lawson also known as Trey Lawson, age 20, of Warren. Lawson had fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. Lawson is described as a 20-year-old black male, with brown eyes, black hair, height 5’11, weight approximately 160 pounds. 

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, an Affidavit for the Arrest of Treayshonn De’Eric Lawson was presented to Honorable Judge Bruce Anderson of the 28th District Court. Judge Anderson signed a Bench Warrant for the arrest of Treayshonn De’Eric Lawson for Battery in the 1st Degree. Anyone that knows where Lawson may be or has any information concerning this shooting should contact Warren Police Department Criminal Investigation Department at (870) 226-3703.
