Bradley County 4-H celebrates 75th Annual Awards Dinner

WARREN, Ark. – The 75th Annual Bradley County 4-H Award Dinner, sponsored by Warren Bank and Trust Company, unfolded in grandeur at the Immanuel Baptist Church Family Life Center in Warren, Arkansas. The evening, themed “To Make the Best Better,” showcased the remarkable achievements and contributions of Bradley County’s 4-H members and volunteers.

Host Asher Weaver from the Superstars & Archery Clubs opened the event with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an evening of celebration and recognition. Luke Cathey, also from the Superstars & Archery Clubs, delivered a heartfelt invocation.

Attendees were treated to a sumptuous meal, fostering camaraderie and conversation among the guests. Following dinner, the solemnity of the occasion was accentuated with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge, emblematic of the dedication to community and personal growth instilled by the 4-H program.

The highlight of the evening was the Awards Presentation, skillfully conducted by Penny Vance and John Gain. Among the recipients, Benjamin Green was honored as the 4-H Member of the Year, a testament to his exemplary leadership and commitment to the values of 4-H. Donna McGaha was bestowed with the title of 4-H Volunteer of the Year, acknowledging her invaluable contributions to the development of Bradley County’s youth.

In addition to the main awards, special recognition was extended to the dedicated volunteers who selflessly devote their time and effort to nurture the talents of 4-H members. Their unwavering support serves as the backbone of the 4-H community, fostering an environment where every member has the opportunity to thrive.

The festivities concluded with the announcement of door prizes.
