Castillo nets brace in Warren loss to Hope

HOPE, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks clashed with the Hope Bobcats on the soccer pitch Friday night in Hope, Arkansas. Despite a valiant comeback effort, the Lumberjacks were edged out by the Bobcats in a closely contested encounter.

The Bobcats managed to find the back of the net three times to go up 3-0.

However, Warren refused to back down. With resilience and determination, they fought tooth and nail to claw their way back into the game. Their efforts paid off when Daniel Castillo found the net with a precise strike, breathing new life into his team’s hopes with just 4 minutes and 35 seconds remaining on the clock.

Castillo wasn’t finished yet. As the game entered its final moments, he delivered another moment of magic, slotting home his second goal of the night with less than a minute left to play, setting the stage for a grandstand finish.
