Lady Jacks post 18 runs in dominant road win over Stuttgart

The Lady Jacks journeyed to Stuttgart to take on the Lady Rice Birds in a thrilling 8AAAA softball clash Monday evening.

Haven Johnson kicked off for the Lady Jacks with a solid single, setting the tone early. Ember Johnson then followed up with an impressive RBI triple, while Charlee Wardlaw added another run with an RBI single. Bayleigh Miller’s single and Natalie Hargrave’s triple contributed to a commanding 6-0 lead for Warren. Despite Stuttgart scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning, Warren held on to a 6-2 lead.

The game continued with Warren maintaining their lead, although Stuttgart fought back to narrow the gap to 10-5 by the end of the 3rd inning. In the 4th, Charlee Wardlaw’s single set up Bayleigh Miller’s explosive 2-run home run, extending Warren’s lead to 12-6. Stuttgart’s persistence kept them in the game, trailing 12-8.

The 5th inning saw Haven Johnson’s swift infield single followed by Ember Johnson’s powerful 2-run home run, pushing Warren ahead 14-6. Despite Crossett scoring 2 runs, Warren stayed in control at 14-8.

In the final stretch, Warren’s Natalie Hargrave and Breize Fellows ignited a scoring spree, culminating in a decisive 18-8 victory with Haven Johnson’s clutch 2 RBI triple and Ember Johnson’s RBI single, followed by Charlee Wardlaw’s double to seal the win.

With this impressive performance, the Lady Jacks advance their record to 8-5, showcasing their dominance in the 8AAAA softball league.
