The family of a missing Bradley County woman is still searching for answers in the disappearance of their mother, Martha Bradford, who was last seen Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in the Blue Springs community near Banks.
Saturday, December 3, 2022, is the birthday of missing Bradley County woman Martha Bradford. Born December 3, 1969, Bradford’s disappearance last June from the community of Blue Springs near Banks has still not been solved, and from what Saline River Chronicle has been told by Bradford’s daughter Kristen Harris, has turned up no evidence of her whereabouts in the time since.
As Saline River Chronicle first reported, Martha Bradford was last seen in the late afternoon of Wednesday, June 15, 2022. The original reporting stated she was seen after leaving her home on foot, wearing a red t-shirt and jeans or shorts.
Her daughter, Kristen Harris, spoke with Saline River Chronicle Friday, December 2, 2022, on the eve of her mother’s disappearance, and asked the public to please come forward with any information they might have. Harris last spoke with investigators about a month ago but is hoping that someone, somewhere may know something. She says she learned her mother was missing from her sister around 8:30 p.m. the night of June 15. Bradford had last been seen just a few hours earlier. “She didn’t carry any of her possessions with her,” said Harris. All of her belongings, including her beloved dog, which went with her everywhere was left at the house says Harris. Just before 10:00 p.m., the family called authorities, and the Bradley County Sheriff’s Department arrived.
For several days a search was conducted, but Harris told Saline River Chronicle that no sign of her mom was found.
Harris says that she just doesn’t want people to forget her Mom is missing. She hopes that if someone sees Martha, or perhaps has potentially valuable information, but has yet to contact the police, they do so.
