A shooting at the car wash at the corner of Martin and Central Streets in Warren Saturday, October 16, 2021 resulted in the death of a local Warren man, Shaun Ingram. Antario Gilbert was taken into custody in connection with the killing of Ingram. He is currently being held and charged with first degree murder.
The Warren Police Department released the following official statement:
On October 16, 2021 Warren Police Corporal Brian Gorman was on patrol in the area of Central and Martin when he heard gunshots coming from the area of the car wash and witnessed a person fall to the ground in the area. After he pulled into the car wash the suspect Antario Gilbert of Las Vegas was apprehended in connection with the shooting. Shaun Ingram of Warren was identified as being the victim in the incident and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Bradley County Coroner Sammi Warren. The scene was processed and witnesses were interviewed by Sgt. Tim Nichols. Based upon the information gathered Gilbert is currently being held and charged with Murder 1st degree awaiting a first judicial appearance. The investigation is still on going and will be turned over to 10th Judicial Prosecutor Thomas Deen for formal charges.

Shaun was my brother and now he dead antario is my other cousin I can’t believe that my family members will take there on. Life for bullshit like so much bull crap man i so sad right now i really can’t believe how he could do that Shaun had a son he only ten and the shot him right in front of him that’s sad how his son is scared for life now after his dad death I wanted to cry man i hate that fool antario
This is so sad. Im praying for the Ingram family. God please help us. We taking our own lives for nothing. What happening to just fighting? This is just sad!
