Dorothy Ree Briggs, 66 years old of Warren, Arkansas, died at home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was born in New Edinburg, AR on October 7, 1955 to the late LC Cranford and the late Margie Rainey. Dorothy retired from Warren Public Schools where she was a bus aide and cafeteria worker.
Survivors include her children, Marie Briggs and Tasha Briggs; siblings, Tina Russell, Patsy Webb, Judy Letbetter, Ceree Cranford, Johnny Cranford Sr., James Cranford, and Lester Heath; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and friend, Donnie Webb. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Cranford and both of her parents.
Friends and family are welcome to visit Dorothy at Frazer’s Funeral Home during business hours on Thursday and Friday. Graveside service with Bro. William Simpson is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Piney Grove AME Cemetery in New Edinburg. Pallbearers include Troy Webb Sr., Troy Webb, Cain Webb, Willie Russell III, Tevin Russell, Michael Robinson, and Blake Robinson.
