Blue Springs, Miss. – The Arkansas-Monticello women’s golf team closed out the 2022 NCAA DII Central Region Fall Preview Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at the Adams Pointe Golf Club Golf Course in Blue Springs, Missouri. UAM closed out the final round of the tournament tied for 5rd place.
Chiara Sturaro led the Blossoms throughout the tournament, closing out the final round of the tournament tied for first with a career best round of two under. Throughout her two rounds played, she carded three-under for the entirety of the event. After a solid 71 in the first round Sturaro improved to a 70 in the second.
Gabriela Maldonado came out of the first round shooting a 73, but followed with a 72 in round two. She finished the tournament tied for 8th.
Worawalan Siwaiyapram finished tied for 35th place. She shot a 75 in round one, followed by an 81 in round two.
Kensley Miller started out the tournament with a first round 79. She finished round two with a 78. She finished tied for 37th.
Robbi Jo Freeman finished in 82nd place, shooting an 89 in her first round and an 87 in the second.
