Rotary hears program about upcoming Hermit Daze Festival

The Rotary Club of Warren met for its weekly meeting Tuesday, May 2 at First United Methodist Church. The group heard from Michaela Stanley, Junior Rotarian from Warren High School, to begin the program. Taylor Hernandez was then introduced to the club to talk about the upcoming Hermit Daze Festival in Hermitage on May 20. Hernandez stated that all the proceeds from the festival will go towards school supplies and shoes for students in the Hermitage School District. The festival is planning on having a 5K walk/run, co-ed softball tournament, vendors, food trucks, pageants, and other fun activities. Hernandez, who works closely with Hermitage Mayor Matt Cathey, stated it has been a lot of work planning and it only all came together in the last few months, but they are really looking forward to the event and having a great crowd attend.
