Warren School District enhances campus security with RAPTOR Visitor Management System

WARREN, Ark. – In a commitment to bolster campus safety, the Warren School District (WSD) has announced the implementation of the RAPTOR Visitor Management System across all its campuses, effective January 8, 2024. The decision comes as part of the district’s ongoing efforts to prioritize the well-being of students and staff members.

Under the new protocol, visitors entering any WSD building where students are present will be required to present a valid State-issued ID for scanning. This proactive measure aims to enhance security and ensure a more controlled environment within school premises.

The process involves three straightforward steps to streamline the check-in and check-out procedures:

Step 1: Present a Valid State ID to the School Secretary

Step 2: ID Scanning with the RAPTOR Scanner

Step 3: Wear Approved ID Badge, Sign In, and Sign Out

It is important to note that the RAPTOR system will only be applied to visitors entering areas where students are present. This measure is not applicable to individuals checking in or out students during regular school activities.
