Warren Water & Sewer seeks customer assistance to prevent water supply depletion

The following is a press release from Warren Water and Sewer:

URGENT- Warren Water & Sewer needs help from customers

Warren Water & Sewer would like to reach out to customers that the water supply could deplete without the help of the Warren residents. This includes residents served by Warren Water & Sewer, Bradley County Rural Water, Southwest Rural Water, and Corinth Valley Rural Water.

Currently, Warren has the water supply and pressure that is needed but without the help of the residents, the chlorine to treat the water and the entire city water supply may hit critical levels, please do what you can to limit water usage until we can get the issue resolved. While we have all hands on deck with crews out looking for leaks, please walk around your property and look for leaks as well. Please don’t forget any outbuildings, deer camps, or vacant properties you may have. While the temperatures are above freezing, there is no need to drop faucets. We need to work together to get water leaks identified and those water sources shut off. Please help us spread the word as quickly as possible.

If you spot a leak please contact Warren Water & Sewer office at 870-226-2321. Another way to check for a leak at your home/business turn off all your water and go look at your water meter. The meter should not be spinning if you don’t have water running. If it is spinning and all your water is off (including no toilets running) you probably have a leak and should call!
