WARREN, Ark. – Students at Warren High School recently had the opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience through Mrs. Brooke Hogue’s Family and Consumer Science classes. These classes participated in the “Get Real Here’s the Deal” simulation, which provided students with hands-on experience in financial decision-making.
The “Get Real Here’s the Deal” simulation is designed to give students a practical understanding of managing finances. Through interactive scenarios, students learned about budgeting, saving, and making informed financial decisions. This experience not only equipped them with essential life skills but also helped them understand the challenges and responsibilities of financial management.
Mrs. Hogue’s classes embraced this opportunity to engage with real-world scenarios, preparing students for the financial decisions they will encounter as they transition into adulthood. The simulation was a success in providing students with a meaningful learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom instruction.
